Welcome to Love
of Torah a place for BIble Study for Messianic and Torah
Observant followers of Yahushua ( Jesus, Yeshua , Yahshua).
The
Goal of this website is to create and encourage Bible Study from
a Hebrew perspective by providing studies,
forums, and resources that you can use to magnify YHWH's (YHVH
Yahweh Yahuah
Yahoveh Jehovah ) Word. This site is also provided to help
people learn the Hebrew roots of their faith and find out where
they fit into God's
plan. With
alot of people coming to knowledge of Torah (also known as
the first 5 books of the bible) as the foundation of the entire
Scriptures. Many people are not sure where they fit in to the
plan of salvation and redemption. Many people think by keeping
God's commandments they need to act jewish or convert to Judiasm
and take on all the traditions of the Jews, while others think
that the Jews must convert to Christianity. Both are wrong.
God's plan of redemption and his covenant was made with Avraham
(Abraham) and both Jews and Gentiles are taking part in that
promise of salvation and redemption. Isaiah 56 is the scripture
that allows anyone, no matter if your Jew, Gentile, scattered
Israel, or complete stranger to have a place in the current
and future house of God.
The
goal of this site is to help people study and understand that
no matter who you are, God and his Torah (instruction) makes
a place for you in his house. He is our inheritance. Isa
56:3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined
himself to YHWH, speak, saying, YHWH hath utterly separated
me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am
a dry tree.
Isa 56:4 For thus saith YHWH unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose
the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place
and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting
name, that shall not be cut off.
Isa 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YHWH, to serve
him, and to love the name of YHWH, to be his servants, every one that keepeth
the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in
my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted
upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all
people. So
many people are confused about the house of God. Fighting over
who is welcome, who is right, and trying to disprove and convert
the other. Not realizing that God's house is built with many
parts just like our body and just as you wouldn't cut off you
left arm because the right is stronger, so also will we realize
in God's plan there are many different people who complete
the entire house.
Let's
study together, fellowshiping and encouraging, not attacking
and alienating. Growing in our understandings, challenging
others and ourselves. Many people coming into the Messianic
Movement confuse it. They may bring some Christian teachings with them
and try and make them work, they may try to embrace the trappings of
the Jewish culture confusing them with being from the Torah. The goal
is to look at the Torah or Tenach (Bible) with a fresh set of eyes. Not
looking to be a follower and not looking to study the Torah only to justify
what you think it means. We need to be truth seekers not followers of
men or followers of systems made by men. May Elohim open our eyes and
give us all a hunger to study Torah and Live it so YHWH may bless us.
Shalom!
