My
only Preface to this list of resources is that this section
is designed to give you resources to study the things being
said in the scriptures and by bible students as a whole. I
do not endorse all the teachings on these websites and do
not necessarily endorse their beliefs! I do though believe
for us all to learn we must examine things and determine if
some, none, or all of what someone says is true according
to the Word of God. So if your new please be carefule not
to take everything you hear or see as truth but "study
to show yourself approved" as the scripture says. If
you have questions or would like to share another link please
email me. Lovingneighbor@LoveOfTorah.com
General
Bible Quiz for Weekly
Parasha - This site is great, you can take short or long
timed quizes on each Parasha(Torah Portion). Fun,
Great Site, Highly Recommended!
Sundown
Times - This is the Naval Observatory Website. You can
enter your town and get exact Sundown times for shabbat and
new moon info also. Great Resource!
Paltalk
Speaker Schedule - A page with schedules for live and
recorded teachings broken down by speaker. We are just getting
this up and rolling and will work on our system to keep it
updated as early as possible.
Ancient
Hebrew Resource Center - This site is dedicated to teaching
people the Ancient Hebrew or Paleo Hebrew and therefore better
understand both modern Hebrew and the Bible. This is a great
resource site. Your will start to understand the deep meanings
of your word studies and the very words of the Bible. Highly
Recommanded!
E-Sword.com
- This is a great website! This site has a free bible program
which is the best one I've seen and it's free. You can download
Dictionaries, Bible versions, Commentaries and more to add
to your Free software. This is the best software for studying
the bible, you can save all your studies, link text to certain
scriptures, search the whole bible for all uses of a word,
and much more. We have also made additional things for this
software we will make available for you soon. Highly
Recommanded!
Genesis
Parashas for Esword - This link will let you download
a TOP file(esword topic file) with all the parashas (weekly
Torah portions plus Hebrew names restored) with reader breakdowns
for Esword. You just click the link and select save and put
it in the esword file on your computer and it will show up
in the drop down menu when you click your 'topic notes' tab
at the bottom is a drop down menu and you can select Genesis
Parashas. Now you can print them and make study binders. Printing
in Esword is a little qwerky you have to put your cursor at
the very beginning of the page and click print preview to
make sure everything is showing up, then print, otherwise
it will print a blank page sometimes. If you have questions
email me. I am working on more resources for esword and we
will have a section for those soon.
The
Temple Institute - This is probably the most comprehensive
site on the temple and it's services on the web. The illustrated
tour of the temple is awesome and puts the scriptures in perspective.
They also have many other studys related to the temple and
holy days. A must resource for everyone studying Torah. Highly
Recommended!
Fossilized
Customs - This is a great site. Lew puts out a few real
eye opening books that touch on where alot of things come
from, such as holidays, names, and many other things. I don't
agree with everything in them but most of the stuff I do.
Great site.
Wilkapedia
on Torah - This is a online encyclopedia built by allowing
people to contribute to it. It will have many links and definitions
about Torah, Judiasm and related topics. May be very useful
for people getting to know Torah.
Hebcal.com
- This is a Jewish site. What I use here is the list of all
the Parasha readings, and it has all the reader breakdowns
or Aliyahs. Very useful.
Artscroll.com
- This is a great website for Books on Torah, many from a
Jewish perspective, but many good sources also for commentary.
Highly Recommanded!
IBiblio.org
- This is a site that has information on the Qumran Library
and the Dead Sea Scrolls
ZooTorah.com
- This site looks at the animal kingdom in relation to Torah
from a Jewish perspective. In ramez study many parables have
to do with animals or natural things so I am interested in
reading on this site, although I have not read through it
yet.
Ross's
Matzah Recipe - Here is a short video showing you exactly
how to easily make your own Matzah for Passover (Pesach).
It's simple, fun and will add to your Passover (Pesach) week.
Enjoy!
Posters.com
- This site has some prints for sale with Torahs, not a huge
selection but some might find something they would like.
Messianic / Torah Observant Believers
in Messiah Bible Study
I am putting these resources as just that resources,
In italics are my personal opinions on the information but
you can make your own judgements. I am a believer in gettting
rooted to the Torah and the Bible. Many Messianics are popping
up and the trend is to blend Christian thought (it's all about
being saved and evangalizing/converting) with Jewish traditions
(kippah, tallit, speaking Hebrew/ cultural copying) and you
end up getting a hybrid religion. I don't beleive in that
form of Messianics or Torah observants. It takes many bad
things of each religion most not the foundation of the religion
but men's interpretations and blends them so you get a focus
of salvation with tallits and channukah. But I search through
them for the gems. Just my 2 cents!
Lion
and Lamb Ministries - This website has many audio teachings
and cd's and tapes you can buy. This is Monte Judah's website
and he is a messianic Jewish believer in Messiah. He has many
teachings on the two houses. I like a few of his teachings
very much and not as much a fan on other of his stuff as it
blends a little too much Christianity to it. Many
people blindly follow these teachers and I have found flaws
in many of their teachings. He also helps sells teachings
of Rico Cortes (Good Insight), Eddie Chumney (Very
Methodical ,Two House), Brad Scott (Word Studies),
and Glenn McWilliams (Nice Teachings).
Eliyah.com
- This website has many resources, Audio teachings, and forums,
this site leans more to the sacred name category and has many
teachings. This site is one of the main sacred name sites
i first found when studying torah, their forums were very
opinionated so it didn't allow for alot of discussion. I am
not sure if it is still the same way. There are many good
studies done but as usual there are flaws also so you can't
just take it all as truth.
Wildbranch.org
- This website has many studies, to read, and has a section
dedicated to word studies. I haven't got to go through it
all yet but check it out.
The
Shofar's Call Web Radio Show - This is a site that you
can download a player and either subscribe to get the Web
Radio show directly sent to your computer every week avoiding
the downloading or listen to it live by clicking it. They
speak about the Weekly Parasha or Torah Portion in an open
discussion each week. You don't have to have an IPod even
though it's called a podcast. The first part is the audio
reading of the Torah Portion, and "Part 2" is the
discussion. You can download the player or just click the
big Shofar's call logo and it will take you to where you can
select the show you want to listen to. A friend of mine
created this show and speaks with some others from a local
synagogue on the torah portions. It is traditional messianic
thought so I disagree with some of it, but check it out.
First Fruits of
Zion Ministries - This is a great site, full of wonderful
resources, and many books, dvd's, and audio teachings. Their
Torah Club is a great resource, Sign up for thier e-drash
newsletter and get commentaries on the weekly Torah Portions.
They Focus on hebraic roots, and have many resources for people
just learning or ministering to christians. I also suggest
getting Messiah Magazine. This site blends Christianity
and Jewish traditions so I disagree with many of their interpretations
but they have some good materials.
Messianic
Jewish Movment International - Just as
it says it is a Messianic site with quite a few Book sources
and things in thier store, The five jewish laws section is
good both for Jews and Believers to see how to approach Jews
about Messiah.
RestorationFoundation.org
- Restoring the Hebraic roots to Christianity. This site has
studies and articles related to Hebraic roots.
NatsarimTorahKeepers.com

nice articles on Torah.
TheSilverTrumpets.com
- This site has some articles and Bible studies. There was
some things I liked about this site, though some of the links
aren't active, I read one of his studies and liked it.
TorahBytes.com
- This is a Messianic Jewish Site with lots of Audio files
on the weekly parshas, the only problem is they are all listed
by title and not by parasha. I haven't got to check out the
teachings yet.
About-Torah.org
- This is a Messianic Jewish website, the nice thing is in
the middle of the main page is commentaries for all the weekly
readings from a Messianic Torah perspective.
OliveTreeofLife.com
- This site has some atricles and Bible studies. They also
sell a few books.
Messianic
Bureau Institute - This website has various resources
on Torah Study and education. This site leans more to
Jewish Messianics and attempts to govern other organizations
under one set of rules and interpretations which in my opinion
limits people from studying for themselves and creates followers
so not for me.
Children's section
NoGreaterJoy.org
- This is one of the best resources I've found on child Raising
and training. His bible study stuff is general Christian thought,
but his Child training material is excellent. Buy his To Train
Up a Child Book, and video it's the best, they are also inexpensive
and I buy exrta's and give them out to parents when I come
accross them. it's short read but so helpful. His website
has tons of articles. His homeschooling stuff is good, and
some of the husband wife stuff is good. More of the Wife stuff
than the husband as he is not Torah observant.Highly
Recommended!
Torah
Tots - This is a great website for kids teachings, software,
and other resources. I like the holy day sections because
you can print off free coloring book pages and activities.
This is a Jewish site but has many applicable resources for
kids, on the holy days and in general. Check it out!

Aura - This is a Jewish site with resources to Jewish
childrens books, and What I liked is the link to Torah related
Toys for Children, it also had a pretty big selection of Coloring
books. Enjoy!

activities
Jewish Perspective Torah Study
Resources
www.Torah.org
- This website has quite a few resources, It is Jewish based
site not Messianic and sees non-Jews as Noahide Gentiles which
I don't agree with, but the great thing about the site is
it has a lot of comentaries on the weekly parashas and introduces
you to the midrash, talmuud, and Halacha of the Jews, which
I don't keep but use for additional insite for my studies.
613.org
- This is an orthodox Jewish site with lots of video and audio
teachings, music and more. I use the sites to study additional
insites into the weekly Torah Portions.

a virtual tour of Israel
Virtual
Beit Midrash - This is a link to a Jewish Torah Study
site. It has comentaries on the weekly parashas. Good for
comentary on the weeks readings though it's from a Jewish
perspective.
Navigating
the Bible - This is a Jewish based website that has the
bible in Hebrew and has some of the Bible you can hear in
the hebrew by clicking on the lines, it also has the prayers
in the Hebrew you can hear it and it is translated in the
English. Great way to get familiar with some of the blessings.
It also has the bible in English with transliteration of the

TorahCenter.com
- Jewish site with audio teachings on genereal study and the
weekly parashas.
Judaism.com
- This site has many resources both for study, and lots of
Judaica.
Sounds
of Torah - This is a project to put together or find music
for each weeks parasha, with clasic and modern music. It's
pretty interesting, I myself am writing worship music for
each Torah portion so I found it interesting to see someone
thought of the same thing. Although all my music is original
vs. a compilation and this is from a jewish perspective.
