Shemot Parasha Thoughts, Studies, and Comments
Reply Quote

The goal of this section is to get everybody's studies, thoughts, and opinions on anything in the weeks parasha. This includes, word studies, thoughts on verses, history, related subjects, and anything that may help us to understand this Torah Portion. Even if it's just an observation on the smallest part, it can help others who may not have seen it that way. The goal is then as we visit the parasha (Torah Portion) each year we will create a collection of studies and thoughts on this portion and everyone will benefit by having a broader view of the portion. Shalom!

Drawn Out

For Parasha Shemot

By Lovingneighbor 1-21-2006

This Parasha has a wonderful message and application to all our lives. We see Moshe's life in a nutshell. His start where Pharoah tries to kill him being a male child. Part of his protection was that he was raised as an Egyptian. Otherwise he would have been slain. This is very significant when it comes to scattered Yisrael. I beleive we were not just scattered for our disobediance, but also as a form of protection from satan. By being scattered among his people we were allowed a certain protection while we were young. Once Moshe was grown though, he started to realize he might belong to the Hebrews. This emotion seemed to come out when one of his Hebrew brothers was being smitten. The natural defensive feeling when someone strikes your brother must have roused feelings that he was not one of Pharoah's but these were his brethren. He was starting to hear the call, calling him out. Telling him he had a people, and a father he didn't know. He was of course drawn out as his name means. Seperated from his brothers with plans to come back and save them. Hmm sound familiar.

Next he goes to find his Father, to know his God. Probably raised with Egyptian Gods, never having the Torah we know of, nor much knowledge of his own peoples oral traditions and such, he made his way out into the wilderness and became a shepard. Learning essential skills needed for his destiny. A far cry from his previous life I'm sure as shepards were an abomination to Egyptians. He was getting back to his Hebrew roots. Like many of us he was I'm sure exploring his own boundries spiritually, questioning things taught to him from his childhood. When he gets an encounter with the God of the Hebrews. He has been drawn out for a reason. But more importantly he is finally getting some answers about himself. Though I'm sure unsure of himself, It seems there would be some sort of peace within finally having a feeling of belonging and purpose. He was asked to save a people that he didn't really know. They rejected him already once and now he would find out he was to be the one to save them. Not a general with an army, a simple shepard. The idea when he returned must have seemed crazy to the Hebrews, but God equiped him with some signs. When raised in slavery I'm sure they didn't envision one guy coming and changing everything and freeing them. They were looking for another savior, maybe one with a mighty army. But as the scriptures say

1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

It seems by taking someone so clearly not able to do a job people will know it is not by them but by the Almight God that such things are done. The same thing they said about the master. Saying isn't this the son of Mary and Joseph the carpenter, but how then can he do such great things, lest it be from God. It seems that Pharoah had the same problem of belief in the God of the Hebrews as he called men forward to do the same signs of this man of God. By doing so showing that these things can be done of men. But he eventually couldn't do some of the signs and was humbled. How often do we take credit for things God has done for us. He will not share his glory. I have learned this lesson all to well. Moshe was drawn out from the world he once knew to know his God and to save his people. He was chosen from above to be a great servant and to confound both his people and pharoah with signs and wonders of God. He may not have known why he was saved from death as a child, nor raised as an Egyptian, but it all brought him to this point where he would be used by God. Remember we don't know who around us will be called and for what purpose. Let's not have a high mind, nor be slack in our own responsibility to prepare ourselves to be used by God. He has not drawn us out for nothing and we must be diligent for the day when our destiny will be revealed. Shalom

The Voice Of Our Father

By Humble Talmid

Shemot - שמות : "Names"

Torah : Shemot (Exodus) 1:1–6:1

Haftarah : Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 27:6–28:13; 29:22–23 (Ashk.)

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 1:1-2:3 (Seph.)

This parisha is very important. There are many aspects to the way our Father put this

together. We do not have time to write the books that would be needed to gleam all of the

application and dash, or understanding that the Father has in store for us. Today we will only

touch on a few points that I find absolutely important for our growth in our walk with YHWH and

His Son, our Mashiach, Yahushua.

First we see the children of Israel being blessed: "they were fruitful, increased

abundantly, multiplied and grew mighty, and the land was filled with them". As YHWH has

promised Avraham, his people were growing mighty and many. Although we see an evil pharaoh

stepping in the middle of the process and wanting to stop the promise out of fear that he would

be overcome in a time of war. A man, given earthly authority. He chooses to afflict them in

hopes that they will decrease in number. Yet through there afflictions, they chose to grow

stronger. The more they were afflicted, the more the people of Israel grew strong and

multiplied. In this there is a very important model.

There is one out there that would love nothing more than to see the number of YHWH’s

children decrease. So we see the first attack is by affliction. Afflictions vary per individual and

incident. I am sure not everyone received the same amount of affliction, although the word

simply tells us that they were afflicted. We need to make sure however that we continue to grow

in number and in spirit. Faith is something that many would argue over, yet I believe Faith is,

knowledge of the truth being acted upon, which establishes it within our lives and makes our fire

burn brighter, encouraging us take action more often.

The next attack comes by way of the children, namely, the male children. Pharaoh

orders the midwives to kill all the male children, yet because they fear YHWH, they deceive

pharaoh and save the male children alive. He then orders that all the male children born must be

cast into the river and drown. Interesting enough that he orders the male children to be killed,

but also by way of which they are to die is by drowning. Just a thought, but didn’t we read not

to long ago about our Father destroying all of Satan’s children except for Noach and his family by

drowning them? Satan often copies the things that the Father does. This could be viewed as a

kind of a way to get back at the Father. Just a thought however, do not take it as doctrine!

It is through the male children that YHWH’s promise is to be carried out. You can see

that Satan would love to stop this. This attack comes to us today by way of all of our children

especially, our male children. Our society today has changed drastically within the last 50 years

it is amazing. It is scary how often we see homes being broken up by husbands leaving their

wives and children for adulterous relations. How often do we see in the news children doing

heinous crimes that we would not even think were possible? How often do you walk into the

grocery store to find all types of advertisement with all types of adulterations posted all over! TV

commercials are the worst I think. You can be watching one thing and suddenly you are viewing

various parts of peoples anatomies, viewing people doing things they aught not to be, and

viewing people becoming things they should not, by means of magic or who knows what. We

think it is only for a moment, it will not hurt or affect these little ones. People, these

commercials are designed to be remembered by us adults! You’ve heard that children when they

are born have extremely sensitive hearing, so we make sure that the music is not turned up to

loud. But you must also remember there minds are just as sensitive, if not more, they take in

more in their first five years of living than their next 25 years. This is the attack. WE WILL

FALL if we do not warn and keep our children safe in the word of our Father!

Don’t take it lightly, our children watch us and see everything we look at and everything we

do and everything we say. We are there school.

Ok, that was the introduction; now let’s get down to business! This parisha takes us

through the birth of Moshe’, his brief life in Egypt, his flee to the desert, his becoming a

shepherd, his calling by YHWH to bring his people out of Egypt, and his reactions. As I

mentioned at the beginning, there is so much within this text to go over, but I am only going to

touch on two vary important topics. One is the burning bush and the other is the voice of our

Father, hence the title.

Calvin Miller wrote in his book, The Finale; "Take your visions. Give me

photographs. The book of visions always has blank pages, for the mystics can never

agree on what they saw. The album’s filled with photographs where lens and light

and silver nitrate record the moments as they were. A steady light may be observed.

A flash, however brilliant, is debated". Let us be that steady light, constantly burning for our

Father.

"For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light;

and reproofs of instruction are the way of life." - Proverbs 6:23

The moment of the burning bush has many thoughts and observations. One of the

points that I would like you to ask yourself is, why did the Father chose a burning bush to reveal

his plans to Moshe’? Moshe’ was to be the leader and savior for the children of Israel, a great

man with much responsibility.

One of the things that I gleamed from this is that we all have to start somewhere, and

we are all at different stages in life, growing in the faith of our Father. Moshe needed an

example of what YHWH could do to man. We are going to dig in just in theory for a moment so

just hang in there and mind you this is just theory and not doctrine so make sure you do your

own study. In description this bush was a bramble or meaning to ***. A description of a

thorny or prickly bush of sorts. Probably had no leaves or needles just a bush of stock.

Throughout scripture it seams as the bramble or thorny bush is used in many different places to

almost represent the world and all its thorns. To *** adds pain. Remember do your own study

on the bramble, or bush. In those times it seems that the bramble was used at the threshing

floors. It seems as though it would be placed around the threshing stone to keep the animals

from eating the grains. So picture this, the threshing stone surrounded with bramble. This is a

beautiful picture for your studies with the wheat and the tears, how the grain is threshed, and

how it ties to the end of days.

I like to think that this represents the world and the evil therein, twisting and turning in

all its ways, lacking any water, or fruit. The fire usually represents testing though our lives, or

cleansing and purifying. It is almost a picture of what the Father is about to take Moshe’ and the

children of Israel through. We all have to go through the twists and pricks of this world in our

physical lives, and be tried by the fire before we come to the threshing floor. And who is at the

threshing floor. What will happen at the threshing floor? Make a study of this! Hopefully we

and our offerings will not be consumed by the fire. As we are passing through the world we are

also in the midst of the fire, being tested and purified yet we are not being consumed by it.

This bush would probably be consumed in fire anyway be the end of a summer’s heat.

Yet the scriptures tell us that YHWH appeared to Moshe’ in a flame of fire out of this bush. It

does not tell us if the Father set the bush on fire or not but it does say that he was in the midst

of the fire, and it says that the bush was not consumed. Can you think of another instance in

scripture where there was a great fire and yet some persons were not consumed because

someone was in the midst of the fire with them?

I think it might be safe to say that we, twisting through this life, filled with pains and

sorrows, thirsting for something more, begin to be consumed in the things of this world. Only if

we call out and the Father dwells with us within the flames, can we have a chance to be

cleansed, purified, and used to glorify our Father and shine his light using the same thing that

the enemy would use to destroy us. Through fire, light is given off. In the same example of the

children of Israel when pharaoh afflicted them, they chose to grow mighty and fruitful. I believe

it is a choice that our Father sets before us, "I call heaven and earth to record this day

against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore

choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live…" Deu 30:19. It is up to us to chose

daily if we will be consumed by the fire of the enemy or if we will allow the Father to use us

through our afflictions to SHINE on to a lost generation and a lost people.

I think the Father was showing Moshe’ who he wanted him to be and what a wonderful

and intriguing site it is when YHWH is with him. It took a little shaking up and a few trials for

Moshe’ to realize this but we all have our testing and our times of growth. Each walks at a

different pace. If we overcome sin and the world, we will not be consumed by it! Just make

sure your being tested by the fire.

My last point I would like to focus on is on the listening of our Fathers voice. Yahushua

answered them, "I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's

name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep,

as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man

pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and

no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one".

John 10:25-10:30

I was driving down the road this last week with my children when suddenly I hear an "I

love you daddy" from the back seat. I immediately answered back "I love you too". A few

second later one of the children asked, "Daddy, who told you that"? I told them "It was Aemon

of course". "How did you know that without looking"? "You are my children and I know your

voices well" I told them. They were amazed and giggled in the back seat.

Moshe’ had been a shepherd for his father in law Yitro and new all about the tending of

sheep. It tells us in scripture that he led that flock to the backside of the desert and came to the

mountain of Elohim. Sheep learn there master’s voice so they can act when called upon. We are

considered sheep. Do you know your masters voice? Who is your master? Husbands be gentle

with your wives. Ha Ha Ha. No, really, do you know whom you serve and if he called you would

you here him. Would he know you if you called out to him? Have you spent enough time with

him that he would recognize your voice?

It says that the Father saw Moshe’ had stopped and turned aside to look at the site of a

bush burning yet not being consumed. It says that he called out to Moshe’ and Moshe’ heard his

voice and replied, "Hear am I". This was the beginning of Moshe’s walk toward the same Elohim

of Avraham, Yitzhak, and Ya’akov. He stumbled a few times during his walk, but the key is, he

walked. What would have happened if he would not have answered out to YHWH when he

called him? What do think would have happened if the children of Israel would not listen to

Moshe or pay attention to the signs the Father put before them? They were consumed and died

in the wilderness.

Whose voice will you hear calling your name when the end comes? When you take your

last breath, and life passes from your body, whom will people say you followed? Whose voice

was most engrained in your memory? Remember this next week to choose life and light.

Remember to listen and act if the Father is leading you to act. Spend time with him and you will

most assuredly know who is calling when your time comes.

I would like to remind all of you that there are many, many other thoughts in this week’s

parasha. I would implore you to study well and test all that is said here today by the words of

our El, YHWH. Blessed be his name, forever and ever!

Shalom and Blessings,

In this weeks portion we have a simple concepts that is embodied in the name of the portion Shemot or names. To understand this concept we must first understand what name means. Shem in Hebrew spelled Shin, mem which in the ancient Hebrew is press the waters this reminds me of the vibrating upon the waters in the beginning of creation then Elohim said let their be light. Name in the Hebrew also means authority. So the spirit of Elohim pressed upon the waters and spoke things into creation by His authority. So what does this have to do with this weeks portion. Yosef had a great name in Egypt and then he died and his name or authority was replaced by a new pharoah who feared the people and put them into bondage. It was a struggle for names. He wanted his name to rule over their name. The lesser trying to rule over the greater is a theme common in so many parts of life. Like the children at the tower of Bavel who wanted to make a name for themselves. They wanted to give themselves a bigger name and they would take it by their own hand.

This theme has funny counterparts to today's culture. In the messianic movement many people have decided to rename themselves with more Hebrew names. This in my oppinion is not right. YHWH has given the authority to your parents to name you just as Elohim gave Adam the usthority to name the animals. A person cannot take it upon themselves to change their own name. In the scriptures name changes have come from Elohim. I can't recall anyone just renaming themselves. The spiritual ramifications are people trying to take something not given to them. I recently went into a chat room and sang a song and the person in charge who people were calling rabbi said I should use more Hebrew words and not use the word God but Elohim. As he was kindly correcting me I almost told him what I thought but it was his chat room and so I kindly said I had some songs more Hebrew then others. My feeling is that many people who are not Jewish or should I say were not raised in a Jewish culture try so hard to look the part that they think even saying a bunch of Hebrew words somehow makes you more into what you want to be. That phrase "want to be" when said fast is probably where we get the phrase wannabe. In this movement many are seeking to get to what they call their Hebrew roots or they have been Christian and later find out they have Jewish lineage in their family. Though they have not been raised around any culture of Judaism they suddenly are justified in clothing themselves in traditions from cultures they never knew and are not a part of. That is a wannabe. Your culture is what your raised in and what is around your way of life. People have to stop trying so hard to be somehting they aren't and start following the true Elohim. Looking like a culture your not has nothing to do with worshipping Elohim. Immerse yourself in obediance and study not in trinkets and tradition.

Just as Moshe was raised in the sulture of Egypt, though he wasn't an Egyptian by blood he was not a wannabe because he lived in the culture around him. He wasn't faking. When he found out that was not who he was I don't think he tried to go and pick up a culture but just stripped away the things of the past and searched to follow the true Elohim. People follow their eyes though and the things they can see. This is like the signs needed to convince Yisra'el Moshe was sent by Elohim. They believed their eyes but only for a short time. because just like Moshe your true colors always come out and with a little closer observation the real followers of YHWH will be revealed in the wilderness. Haven't people seen that YHWH is concerned with the inner man more than the outer man. Yet I see it all the time that people wannabe covered on the outside in Jewish or Hebrew things and traditions and yet being part of that culture wasn't the great reward but those who obeyed YHWH were His people. No you don't have to use a Hebrew word every other word nor is it impressive. the people in that chat room were groping at anythng Hebrew in my opinion. They played Hebrew music even though most didn't even know what it was saying. If you want to be enamored be enamored in Elohim and not foolishness.

So what does it have to do with the name of Elohim? His name is His authority over your life from the inside out. If you want a new name then obey YHWH and He can rename you if He so chooses. Stop trying to make a name for yourselves by writing books, or opening synagogues, or ruling over others who have less knowledge than you. The problem has always been a problem with names. Others have tried to give themselves different names. Whether it is satan trying to rule over more than what was given, or Eve trying to rename herself by giving herself a higher authority than her husband, or the countless pastors and preachers and people calling themselves rabbis or desiring to lead others. More blood has been shed and wrong done by this flawed character trait than just about any other. Let's seek our own name, the one YHWH gives us. Let's learn our role in His kingdom and stop trying to change it. Repeatedly they accused Moshe of doing things for is own gain because that is what they do and how they think. There is always a battle between those trying to make a name for themselves and those who will not follow them. The self exalted against the humble who only seek to fulfill the authority Elohim gives them. Another man cannot rule over someone elses servant and those who say they follow YHWH are always fighting over position trying to rule over the servants of YHWH. The exodus is a classic story of the name of Pharoah vs. the name of YHWH. The deciding factor lies with who you obey. Revealing the name of every man and woman is what the exodus is all about. In the end we see whose name is what and the greatness of it. May we all be humble and take the name of YHWH. Shalom!
A disciple should diligently search for the truth and humbly deny and reconsider it's possession.

- Haftarah - The sending of a prophet to Yahudah and the remembering of the time in the wilderness

In this weeks parasha we see a pattern forming and it starts right in the very beginning of the parasha. It's the concept of whose are you. We start with the names of the children of Ya'akov. Now when it talks of names, name also means authority in Hebrew. Add this to the concept of children which is the Hebrew word bane (which means builder of the family name) and you get the concept that we are dealing with the authority of the family and a child is supposed to build the authority of the parents before them. In other words they should continue to advance what their forefathers did before them. This will take us all the way back to Avraham and his name means father of nations. He is the one who started building the name of YHWH when the promise was made to him. I believe we are still on this same goal. This is why it is essential for people to know the Torah and know what he started in particular. How can we continue to build a house when we don't know what the builder before us was doing and where he is at in the plan, or what the plan is at all. This is one of the great responsibilities we have as fathers. To both know the plan and teach it diligently to our children. It's more than just commandments, and it's more than just salvation. Much more, and until people can open their eyes to the big picture and stop straining at the gnat (salvation) and swallowing the camel (just using the Torah to point to salvation instead of looking at the goal of the Torah). Mashiach said he is the goal of the Torah, but instead of people seeing that he lives and breathes Torah and is the Spirit of Torah and builder of his Father's authority, they will continue to focus on one aspect and not be changed themself. Believing in Mashiach and outwardly keeping the commandments in my opinion is not the goal of Torah. They are tools to get to the goal. The goal is to be one with the Father. Then his authority is one. He s not then trying to rule over you, but he is living in you and this causes you to be fully aligned with his will and authority. It's like a cow wrestler. The first thing they have to so is just get ahold of the cow, then they can actually tie his legs and do what they are trying to do. Believing in Mashiach and keeping the letter of the law are the tools to get ahold of yourself so you can work on the inside and the spirit of the law.

How does this relate to this weeks portion? Well, the children of Yisra'el grew and were multiplying. And a new king came that didn't know Yosef. In a sense the old king was helped and blessed by Yosef so he allowed him to be great and gave him power an wealth. But this king was neither helped by Yosef nor did he give him any power or wealth and Yosef and his impact were gone when the new king took over. So the question is why are these Hebrews getting the best of the land and growing so much. I suspect he wanted to build his own name and authority. So he literally put the Hebrews to work building his cities and his kingdom. He wanted the children of Yisra'el to build his name not the house of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya'akov. He was worried that if a war comes they would turn on him. What he feared was to go to war with them. He then wanted to kill the male children. This is an attack on the strength of the house. It is also an attempt to stop them from building the authority of their fathers. This to me is just an example of the power struggle between good and evil. Imagine Heaven as a big house or kingdom. How many authorities can their be> This is a story of a struggle for authority. To be able to rule over the house by numbers. And we see this in the world. Evil may think it can take over if it has enough numbers. But on of the things that is different than just numbers in the whole scriptures is that Yisra'el was chosen not because they were the largest, but because thy were the fewest. Look in the Middle east, there are over 1 billion muslims around Yisra'el which is only about 14 million worldwide. Catholics about a billion, and hindus about a billion. Even today the influence of the Jews in Yisra'el is much larger than their number. Yet if you add all the scattered Yisra'eli the numbers could be much larger than that of the others. So what happens here is Yisra'el was fine while Yosef was around, then later they start multiplying and as there becomes more of them, the others start to try and stop them from growing. They do this by both attempting to murder them and by forcing them to work more so they don't spread. The more that they see, the harsher the persecution. I see this as a warning and pattern to watch out for in the future as Scattered Yisra'el starts being revealed more in the world. We can expect them to try and stop it.

So we get to Moshe who is really a Hebrew but is hidden and raised as an Egyptian for his own protection. He goes mixes with those who would persecute them for a time until he starts to realize who he really is. This starts a problem that he can't ignore and causes him to act contrary to the thing he used to find OK. Does this sound like your own life? Do you decorate the tree anymore or eat bacon with your eggs? or do these things now become disgusting to you. Do you blend back with the old ways and the ways of the world? Or can you not stomach it, even if it brings persecution. Many times now I hear Messianics saying things like it's OK to go to christmas parties because you don't want to drive them away from your religion. Or it's OK to work on Shabbat because you have no other choice. But the bottom line is you just don't want to deal with the consequences of being who you really are. A friend of mine told me the other day some people at work wanted to do a bible study with me. many people might have been like yeah let's do it. I jokingly said to my friend well it has been nice working here. Because i knew people didn't really want to hear what I have to say, because it would probably be contrary to how they live and believe and once they heard it, they would either have to justify their position or destroy mine because the implications would mean if I was right they would have to change. I have always said you have to be true to what you understand. If you will lie to yourself then you will lie to others. If you don't hold yourself to a standard than you will break any rules when you get a chance.

In this parasha Moshe takes actions that will have consequences, He repeatedly does things that are not popular and can bring him harm. Like coming back and approaching Pharaoh. The children of Yisra'el didn't want to face Pharaoh, or their would have been a revolt. Only Moshe and Aharon would stand up to Pharaoh. They knew they were not Pharaoh's and they were under the authority of YHWH. You should fear the one who is in authority over you. This applies to wives as well but like Yisra'el they feared the wrong person. This is a story of two authorities trying to rule over Yisra'el. There is really no choice in the big picture. If you are Pharaoh's YHWH could wipe them all out. If you are YHWH's Pharaoh can not if it is YHWH's will. But when you start to realize you may not be the world's, many have a hard time making different choices because they have made the other choices for so long. Not only that, if they change people may not like them or may even persecute them. This is what it comes down to. Many say they are Elohim's but they do not act like it or make choices that prove it. They do the traditions and keep doing things that YHWH would not do. The WWYD (what would Yahushua do) concept is really the measure of how hard you will make it on yourself. The more you refuse to do what is right and take the consequences, the longer you will suffer in the world and eventually have to do it anyway. Sometimes there is no easy answer but there is a right answer. You just have to decide whose you are and realize that those who are not like you once you realize this will be against you. I have seen this many times. Even in my own friends. People have a knack for being you buddy until you don't agree with them. I think it stems from the selfishness of people. They are there as long as there is something in it for them. Fear or reward are the two great motivators, but what about truth. People can't understand why Elohim would allow something bad to happen, yet they don't realize the basic fact that evil people do things and that bad things do happen. Growing up is hard. You may experience many spankings, many bad experiences like falling off the couch, burning yourself, saying something stupid. The key isn't why did they happen but what did I learn from them. How can I be made a better person because of them.

If your not sure what I'm talking about read the story of Iyov (Job). His so called friends couldn't understand that Elohim allows bad things in our life experience. More important than what happens to us is how we react and who we become because of it. They thought if you did Elohim's will only good things would happen to you. Just ask the prophets and Mashiach if that is true, as a matter of fact it seems quite the opposite. If you are doing Elohim's will it will probably be a rough road but in the end you have only one question to ask yourself. Whose are you? And if that is the case where is the proof in your choices. We are going to come to a time when the more righteous you are the more you will not fit into society. You can stay in Sedom or get out, but the day is coming in my opinion that we will no longer be able to stay and the world will not want us anyway. Prepare yourself and start learning to make the tough choices now so it is not such a shock or so that you don't hold on when you should be letting go. Shalom!
A disciple should diligently search for the truth and humbly deny and reconsider it's possession.
