I watched this movie last night with my wife. I hear quite abit about this movie before I saw it and was expecting it to be quite good. For me there were a few things I didn't agree with. The first was they told the natives that their God which they called by a certain name had made some carvings(they were refering to the bible) and he had a son and he told them not to spear each other. The big problem is to call God by the name of a pagan God is wrong, and it was also a lie to say Messiah was the son of their God. That whole part was bad in my opinion. Because the natives said that they gained strength from killing others and you can't associate things they believed in their pagan god with the true God. Second was the spot of angels hovering over them, also when he says his father gave his life freely when the native told him he killed his father was not true. His father was killed, he wasn't offering his life, they tried to make it like a messianic model, but the fact is he may have not fought back but he didn't freely give it he was killed in a act of murder.
Overall I wouldn't recommend the movie. There were a few schenes with womens breasts kind of showing, a little too national geographic for the family and overall I thought the movie line and plot would have been much better. This was more like a made for tv movie and I don't think the message there were trying to share came accross. It definetly was also more of a christian love everybody just as they are type message.
