Well Yom Teruah draws near and this year I think we are really being called to open our eyes (awaken) and be warned of things around us. We must observe the signs of the times. I'm not trying to sound like a doomsayer, but if you read my link on the Real ID act it should open your eyes to realize that the way you and I live is starting to change and that change will happen fast. Like a woman going into labor once the labor pains start there is no turning back and you will stop what your doing and deal with the present reality.
I pray many of us in this season will not be going through the motions, but instead will quickly cleans ourselves spiritually as best we can, and prepare our homes and families for some fo the tough things that will come in the last days. We cannot sit by and wait until the famine is upon us. Many parables and stories urge us to prepare and store up for the tough time to come. Lets arise from our slumber in this world and prepare for entry into the next. Shalom!
