This topic is about something I have found and seems to be a real problem. The food we eat if we obey the command of YHWH is supposed to be determined by the scriptures. Besides the scriptures we have the term Kosher. Which by many standards is much different than the descritpion in the Torah. The instruction in the Torah tells us what kind of animals we may eat and what we can't. From there Judaism derives by mixing some interpretations of seperate verses some not even related to eating and arrive at the concept of the kosher kill. There is no kosher kill commanded in the Torah that I'm aware of. Do a search and I don't think you'll find one either. They take the verse about not eating blood and determine how you kill the animal determines if it is kosher which they make equal to the instruction of Elohim about food. The problem is then they will call unclean that which YHWH has called clean:
Act 10:15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What Elohim hath cleansed, that call not you common.
Act 10:28 And he said unto them, You know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but Elohim has showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
Next they will also say it is OK to eat Pork skins because it is not the edible part and when it is used to make food it is not under that command any more: click the link below for rabbinic writings and a Jewish site about this topic:

Then they say again that you shall not eat dairy and meat together, because of the scripture:
Exo 23:19 The first of the firstfruits of your land thou shalt bring into the house of YHWH your Elohim. Thou shalt not boil a kid in his mother's milk.
The problem with this verse is please somebody show me where the mention of eating is made anywhere in this statement. You shall not BOIL. the commanded action is about boiling a baby goat in it's mothers milk. It's not about cows, fish, or chicken, it's about a baby goat, and YHWH has access to all the words he could have said don't seethe a animal in it's mother's milk or just don't eat dairy and meat together. but the fact is it isn't even about eating, it isn't for all animals because he chose a specific animal when he could have said a general term, and it isn't about consuming it is about what you boil a baby goat in. It is simple to see this displayed when YHWH visited Avraham and he set before them dairy and beef and it says they set it before them and they ate. Now because of their interpretation they have to try and dance around the clear text and say they first set the dairy, then when it was digested they set before them the meat. But the verse clearly says different.
Gen 18:8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
it says and the calf, butter and the calf, and set it before them. The point I'm making is that there seems to be a little confusion about what is kosher. First let's start by using the right Torah term. the word used to describe the kinds of animals we can eat is tahor (clean) pure, genuine. Part of the problem with the messy antic (messianic) movement is people come in and get jazzed up on torah and then run and start acting Jewish. I don't want to break it to them but the covenant was made with Avraham and he was not the first jew as many Jewish people call him. The Jews didn't exist yet. He was a Hebrew and his great grandchildren werre the first jews. Yahudah was the first Jew. The Jews are taking part of a covenant made to the children of Avraham of which the Jews are. But there are 11 other children that might have issue with the Jews saying the promise was all about them and that they need to act like their brother to recieve their inheritance. Why don't we all act like Gad, or Sim'on? Or why don't we all act like ourselves and if you don't know who you are then read Isaiah 56 and let the Torah tell you how to act.
It always bothers me when people call things of YHWH Jewish. You do not make your forefathers who were greater than you and worthy enough to be called a frind of Elohim to be part of you. You are from him not the other way around. What does this have to do with Kosher? well, many problems happen when people don't study the scriptures, or they study them leaning on the jewish interpretation and end up violating Elohim's laws but justifying themselves by getting their interpretation from the Jews.I love the Jewish people but both they and the followers of YHWH who are waking up need to figure out what foundation they are building on. I do not celebrate Purim, chanukah, wear a tallit, kippa, or anything alse because I'm not Jewish, and even if I was I would want to see what any of these things were commanded by Elohim.
I had an interesting conversation with a friend of mine and it was about wine and I recently found out that in the wine making process some companies use some unclean animal products to fine the wine, but because it's a fining process they don't have to say it's an ingredient. Such as pork geletin. fish bladders, and such. But my friend said as long as it says kosher and it's from Isra'el I'm ok with it. He is certainly ok making his own mind up, but why I brought it up was because I beleive it is a topic needing to be addressed in this movement. This blurred line between things Jewish and things of Elohim. See if a rabbi says pig skin is OK to eat I don't care. Jello made form pork has the kosher symbol, I don't care, if it comes from Isra'el I don't care. Isra'el was full of wickedness, and they were punished for it all through the wilderness. So if a man says I was in the wilderness with Elohim and I say you can eat Pork. So what! Because Elohim is not a respector of persons. THere are righteous Jews, and Wicked Jews, There is abomination in Isra'el and Righteousness, Even within each of us there is good and evil, so we gotta stop confusing things of Torah and Elohim with the Jews and start studying for ourselves, It doesn't mean throw away anything Jewish, It means evaluate it and make your decisions out of Torah and then when you dug down and found the rock to build on you can look over at the sand and see what they are doing. Shalom I will be posting some lists soon with things with pork in them soon because I'm always finding more sneaky things Pork is used for that we are eating.
A disciple should diligently search for the truth and humbly deny and reconsider it's possession.
