I am posting these Parables or riddles so we can all reply with our studies, thoughts, and meanings by replying below. This way we can all work together to solve the parable. Use scripture when you can. Each item has a direct meaning as When Messiah explains the parables He gives us the meanings of some and other he doesn't. Please look at the eyes that see study to better understand ways to solve Parables.

The Light of the Body

Mat 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

Luk 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Luk 11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

Luk 11:36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

A disciple should diligently search for the truth and humbly deny and reconsider it's possession.

The eye that is single is the eye that looks to Torah for its light. the eye that is evil is the eye that looks anywhere else, even if it's only for a moment, for even that moment can get one off the Way of salvation.

The light is always Torah, in the most general sense. Torah is the Word of YHWH, either written, as Tanakh/Brit haDashah, or living, as Yeshua. If we are wholly fixed on Yeshua and his Word, our eye will be single and there will be no darkness in us.
