One Night With the King - Gener8xion Productions
Well, I have to say I wasn't a fan of this movie. Many movies made from scriptures end up this way. In my opinion you either need to make a moral movie or a scriptural movie but many times people take scripture and change it thus polluting it in my opinion and twisting the scriptures.
This was an example of artistic license, which is OK when things are done to make story flow or non fundamental things, but the worst things is when they add or change a key part of the scripture. The cyrstal that magically glows with the star of david was an example of how a unbiblical miracle is added as the foundation of the reason why the king came back to save Ester. I myself am not a fan of the symbol as most symbols come from pagan origin and Yisra'el seemed to pick up this symbol some time after Babylon.
I also didn't like that Ester was running around hanging on this boy at a young age she seemed to not dress and display biblical modesty. But that is usaully hollywoods view on women, flirtatios and clamerous. Then she was dreaming of kissing the pagan king after only meeting him one time. I would hope her Father taught her differently especially considering they worshipped other gods. Why would a well raised Hebrew girl desire a pagan man who she saw one time.
Mostly I thought that it didn't represent torah based values and this is what usually happens when a movie is made about scriptural events they don't put it in context with the values of the day and of torah and just try and entertain people thinking oh they'll get the message. The fact they added magical crystal that the king could see but haman couldn't which then had the star of David was both unbiblical and in my opinion borderline new age witchcraft like. Overall I would neither watch it with kids because of the magic and steamy inappropriate kiss dream scene and didn't care for it overall. The things it should have conveyed it didn't and yet added a bunch of questionable things. Shalom!

A disciple should diligently search for the truth and humbly deny and reconsider it's possession.
